Right Lane Controller
End-User License Agreement
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Development draft. This document describes the proposed terms for Right Lane Controller. Production access is pending. These terms remain subject to review and do not replace an existing signed engagement agreement.
Service and permitted use
Right Lane Controller supports authorized accounting and operational review of a connected QuickBooks Online company. Its verified deployment currently accesses a QuickBooks sandbox. Initial production access is intended to retrieve company information, transactions, account information, and reports using read-only functions.
Under the proposed terms, the customer receives a limited, nonexclusive right to use the service for authorized business purposes during the applicable engagement. Ownership of the software remains with its respective owners. The service contact is Right Lane Brands at keith@rightlanebrands.com. The contracting legal entity will be identified in the applicable signed engagement agreement.
Company authorization and access
Anyone authorizing a QuickBooks connection must have authority to permit access to that company’s records. Each company’s connection requires separate authorization. Customers are responsible for communicating who may receive their information and changes to those instructions.
Credentials must be supplied through approved secure methods. Customers must avoid placing credentials in ordinary messages or documents and must refrain from unauthorized access or interference with access controls.
Review and accounting authority
Reports and retrieved information may contain errors, incomplete records, or timing differences. Material accounting, financial, tax, and legal decisions require review by the responsible person or qualified adviser. Customers remain responsible for their books and professional advice.
The initial production integration is intended to operate with accounting creation, update, and deletion disabled. Any expansion requires separate approval and verification. Money movement and external communications require applicable human authorization.
Customer records
Customers retain their rights in their business records. The proposed service permits processing for authorized review, agreed reports, connection maintenance, error investigation, and necessary service documentation. The accompanying Privacy Policy describes the development-stage data handling.
These terms provide no permission to publish customer records, use identifiable records across clients, or train models on customer records. Any additional use requires separate review and appropriate permission.
Availability and fees
The service depends on Intuit, QuickBooks Online, hosting, and Tasklet. Outages, changed permissions, expired authorization, and third-party changes may interrupt access. This draft makes no uninterrupted-service commitment.
Fees and engagement obligations are governed by the applicable signed agreement. This document establishes no additional fee.
Disconnection and suspension
Customers may request disconnection at keith@rightlanebrands.com. Identity and authority may need verification. Access may be suspended to address unauthorized activity or a material security concern.
Revoking QuickBooks authorization stops future retrieval through that authorization. Disconnection and deletion of existing reports or records are separate actions. Requests concerning retained information are addressed under applicable requirements and the signed engagement agreement. Production disconnection and deletion procedures remain subject to verification before launch.
Terms and updates
Liability allocation, governing law, disputes, and notice requirements remain subject to the applicable signed engagement agreement and legal review. This development draft supplies no additional liability cap or jurisdiction.
This document may be revised during development. Review the current version before relying on its terms for a production engagement.
